It is to wonder the way our soul seems to be programmed to seek someone else and feel she's the other half, that piece that will complete a big part of our lives.
When it happens, we have the strong sensation that we already knew that person, as if she had been there all the time, although we couldn't see her. There is an enormous feeling of partnership and complicity, like two who think as one. Everything is written in the eyes, entire messages are exchanged without a single word. And so each evidence makes clear we are dealing with that long expected one.

I remember a TV program called "I love you" that used to come on at TVE. It was hosted by a blond, beautiful teacher who used to sit her class in a park and present those hits as they translated sentence by sentence into Portuguese, and the sang back again in English.
This song is one the first ones I learned, and till this day know the words by heart. It's called "Glory of love".

Speaking of speaking English and also speaking of sharing, I'd like to share with you a little about how I went along learning: songs, songs and songs.
I guess I've listened to more songs in English in all my life than I have in Portuguese. Well, at least I'm sure I know more lyrics in English than I know in Portuguese.
Anyway, it's amazing how learning from songs can boost your English, giving you vocabulary and perfecting your pronunciation. And I'll be posting the lyrics of some of the songs that built much of what I know today.
